Uniforms:
Fiddlesticks members have two uniforms. For casual warm weather, a turquoise Fiddlesticks t-shirt is worn with a black knee-length skirt, shorts, capris or slacks. In colder weather and for more formal occasions, the uniform is white blouse or shirt with a black knee-length skirt, shorts, capris or slacks. Turquoise and yellow accents are added in the form of shoes, bolo ties, scarves or leggings. The price of a Fiddlesticks t-shirt is $10 and is not included in tuition. Other uniform items are purchased by each member individually. Dress must be modest.
Policies: Attendance is required for rehearsals. If you have a conflict that cannot be avoided, please contact Mrs. Walters at least three days before. If you miss two rehearsals without prior approval from Mrs. Walters, your membership in Fiddlesticks may be suspended until the next semester. All music will be memorized. Rehearsals will be spent on ensemble and style, not on learning your part. Members must commit to learning the basics of the music at home with diligent practice. Fiddlesticks maintains a private website with calendar, discussion and photos. Members and their parents are given access upon acceptance.
