     Welcome to Family Music Studio! As you or your child study music, you will receive quality instruction, an opportunity to perform in a recital and a monthly newsletter.

     You may have questions about instruments, practice, teacher selection or other things. Many questions are answered either on the individual instrument pages (see the list on the left) or you can click on FAQ. It is also a good idea to give FMS director Barb Walters a call. She will be able to answer questions and help you prepare for registration and lessons.

     A teacher recommendation can also be made. Since some instruments have more than one teacher, sometimes teacher selection is made based on schedule compatibility.

To register just follow the steps below:

1.  Print off a copy of the 08-09 policies by clicking HERE. Read the policies.

2.  Print off a copy of the 08-09 registration sheet by clicking HERE.

3.  Fill out a separate registration sheet for each student. Don't forget to initial at the bottom to show that you have read and agree with the studio policies.

4.  Mail the registration sheet(s) and first monthly payment plus registration fee ($30 for a new student, $40 maximum per family) to: Family Music Studio, PO Box 621, Lebanon, IN 46052. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your registration (or a letter if you have no email). Then your teacher will call you to set up specific lesson time and day.

     All monthly fees are based on 34 scheduled instructional times per school year, August through May (private, small class or large group). For students starting late, our second start date is the week after Labor Day week. Your lessons will start the week of September 8. September's monthly fee plus the registration fee is due with the registration sheet. Subsequent fees are due by the first of each month ending with the fee due on May 1st for a total of nine monthly payments. Your teacher will give you a set of payment envelopes to use. Each teacher's studio calendar will be posted on the website. Teachers' calendars vary slightly so be sure to print off the calendar for your own teacher and day.

        Small Class half-hour Lessons: $40 per month, violin only.
        Private half-hour Lessons: $62 per month.
        Private half-hour Lessons taught by student teacher: $35 per month, piano only.
        Private half-hour Lessons taught by assistant teacher: $45 per month, violin and piano only.
