I have some time off coming up. Where should I go? I have seriously thought about putting a map on the wall, throwing a dart, and going there. Now THAT would be interesting! I find that no matter how remote the place, or how small the town, there is always something interesting to see or do. But maybe I am easily amused.
It is still a new feeling to me to be able to just pick up and go. I was directly responsible for other people for almost forty years. My empty nest still feels new. Although I am very thankful for so many years of active parenting, I kinda like this new freedom. Not even the dog needs me! He can go to work with my husband!
OK, how about some ideas? Where should I go? It needs to be within driving distance of Indianapolis. And I don’t want to be gone more than maybe 4-5 days.
